Specialize in Bernese Mountain dog grooming

groominG

A typical grooming package includes: Bath, Hot Oil Treatment, Blow Drying, Brushing, Nail Trimming, Ear Cleaning, Gland Expression, Pad Shaving, Scissoring and Health Assessment. Pet owners will get report verbally or written that will discuss how your dog(s) had done and education on further needs.

Grooming Service Options: Full Groom; Feet Face and Fanny; Bath or Deshed Bath, and Brush Outs.

You can also make quick appointments for just nail trims, ear cleaning, anal glad expression, hair dye, or nail polish.

Please be as specific as possible with what your needs are. If you just want the nails trimmed and the fur trimmed a little, then say so. Other specifics include the length (click here for reference charts), if it is a deshedding or regular bath, want a poodle or teddy bear cut. Groomers are trained for many different dog type. On request only, we have special safe hair coloring options.

Sometimes we are required to shave dog due to matting - when matting is very tight to the skin, preventing proper air flow. Matting and pelting prevents proper temperature regulation, causes skin irritation, hides parasites like fleas or other nasties, and causes extreme discomfort and pain for the dog.

Boarding by Diersen’s Canine Country Club thumbnail image

boarding

Our policy is limiting time spent in a kennel. We love to play outside with the dogs, do enrichment activities to keep them busy both mentally and physically, and do our best to give them as much attention as we can. We give medication, use of essential oils to comfort them for any anxiety, have toys and blankets, provide kennels, and have food for regular and diabetic needs (use highest rated vet recommendations). Kennel sizes are 2’x4’, 4’x4’, 4’x6’, 4’x8’

Recommend you bring your dog’s normal food and treats for their stay, this helps prevent digestion issues. If this is your dog’s first time being boarded, we suggest to help anxiety by bringing a shirt you have warn to be put into their bedding and/or thunder shirts/vests.

Training by Diersen’s Canine Country Club thumbnail image

training

DAY TRAINING!! We offer day training Monday-Friday 7am-6pm. It pairs great with the obedience classes or to use daily to tire out your pup(s). We do multiple sessions a day with your pup to train manners, basics commands, and do enrichment activities in order to mentally stimulate them. They should go home tired and well mannered. For best results come in 2 or more times a week.

Obedience Classes! We do things a little differently here. We will be teaching you and your canine the basics: sit, down, stay, heel, etc. In addition, we will be taking the time to explain your dogs behavior and showing you why your dog acts the way it does. You won't believe how much this understanding will strengthen your bond. No dog is too old to learn either.

Our specialized training classes consist of typical Drill Sargent Obedience, but includes specific understanding of dog behavior by owners and socialization of the dog(s) in conjunction with training to offer better, faster results.

I took my Havanese puppy to Canine Country Clips today for her first complete haircut. I was very impressed by how nice everyone was there and how they took the time to talk to me about what type of haircut I wanted. My puppy loved hanging out with other dogs there and got socialized at the same time as grooming. I felt they did an excellent job with my puppy’s haircut. Best of all, my puppy is worn out from her day there.

“Thank you for taking care of Hobbs while we were on vacation and for the bath and nail clipping. We will DEFINITELY be bringing him back to you regularly on grooming - he feels and smells AMAZING! Thank you so much! ”
— Taryn
Veronica is amazing! Any age, not just pups. Ive witnessed her with different behavioral concerns (not limited to) like troubled, anxious, bouncy-cant control themselves kind of happy, alpha dominant over people and/or dogs, etc. Veronica is patient, nurturing, not afraid to tell a dog no, understands the way our fur babies think and why they do what they do. I highly recommend her

My golden doodle has been going here since he was 10 weeks old. He LOVES the experience and gets excited as we turn onto her road. The treatment he gets is A+ and they work around our schedule and needs extremely well. We have found our groomer for life.
