About Diersen’s Canine Country Club bone icon

Diersen’s Canine Country Club offers top-notch dog grooming, training and boarding. A mission to see through and reach potential in education, health, proper training for both owners and dogs.

Owner Background: January of 2009, Veronica Diersen started in the basement of her home with grooming. It was derived from a necessity to provide as a single mother of 2 young daughters after being laid off. She recognized the lack of availability for dog owners to find proper humane care and education. Veronica is a certified vet tech and worked 10 years with vets before starting Diersen’s Canine Country Club (previous name: Canine Country Clips). Her passion comes from growing up on the farm and witnessing inhumane practices of their dogs. She is driven to provide dogs an atmosphere to be treated humane and seeing dog owners reach their full potential through proper education and training. Interesting fact is Veronica is allergic to dogs, but in her home on 5 acres you will find 5 dogs that range from rescues and Bernese Mountain dogs (also 5 cats and 3 horses). Logo was designed in honor of her Bernese Mountain dog, Daisy, that crossed the rainbow bridge in 2019.

Business Growth: 2011 increased services due to demand; 2016 hired first staff member; 2017 outgrew her basement and moved to Solon location; 2019 had on file over 600 served, resulting in a 8 person staff. Organic growth of 99% being referrals and offering reduced costs for the type of expertise services offered. Goal is to double her clientele every year and provide more employment opportunities.
